Tuesday night, co-worker Tim and I went to Tour Montparnasse to see “The best view in Paris.”
Tour Montparnasse is a very tall office building, in an area where there are no other very tall office buildings. Apparently, the zoning laws were changed after it was built, so it stands alone on the landscape. You can go up to the top and see Paris from the inside, or take an additional three flights of stairs up and see Paris from its open air roof.
It is, indeed, the best view of Paris I’ve ever seen.
