When I was leaving the SAP building yesterday to walk home, I heard this noise that I couldn’t place. I thought that maybe it was a huge flock of birds, and followed my ears to see what it was. Although there were lots of trees around, it wasn’t birds that I heard. Behind the building I’m in and a few buildings down, there is a pond: 
The noise was coming from that pond, from thousand of these guys:

These frogs were so loud, I can’t even describe it. I’ve never heard anything like it. I took a video to get some of the sound: Even now, as I’m sitting in my classroom at least a quarter mile away, I can hear them going at it. Amazing.
